Serving People. We are your community contact for all breast health needs, and we are here for you. From outreach and education about risk factors and early detection of breast cancer, to staffing a local office for support and information for all those affected by this disease, the Southern Arizona Affiliate provides caring support to the people in our community.
Saving Lives. Funding local programs which are providing screening, breast health education and life-saving treatment for the women and men in our community ensures quality of care for all for the people of southern Arizona. We have supported every advance in breast cancer research, and we are dedicated to curing breast cancer at every stage. We remain the nation's largest provider of funds for breast cancer research and community outreach programs. Grant Program
The Southern Arizona Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen For the Cure will award funds in November 2009 to the fight against breast cancer. Seventy-five percent of the net proceeds from fundraising efforts will remain locally to fight breast cancer in Southern Arizona and at least twenty-five percent will go to support the high profile national research program.
