Cook for the Cure
A huge thank you to all who came out on a hot summer's eve to Cool off with Komen at our recent Cook for the Cure event. The total amount raised in just a few short hours was $2,065!
Tucson Originals chefs Ramiro Scavo, Renee Kreager, Maria Mazon and Jason Jonilonis outdid themselves with their yummy appetizers, from chilled soup to chicken wraps to hummus-and-veggie bites.
We think you'll agree it was a thoroughly enjoyable evening, and we thank Colleen Edwards and TWS Premium Appliance Center, and Norma Gentry (Pro Ventures, Inc) for helping organize the event.
A special nod, too, to our always-dedicated group of volunteers. We loved it so much we're already planning some more foodie happenings, so watch this space!
