More than twenty five years ago, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister. Susan G Komen, that she would do everything possible to put an end to the breast cancer that ended her sister's life. Today, thanks to more than 100,000 survivors and volunteers/activists, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest, most progressive grassroots organization fighting breast cancer.
Volunteers play a vital role in our Southern Arizona Susan G. Komen Southern Arizona Race for the Cure®. The passion and commitment of our hundreds of volunteers -- your neighbors! -- is what makes our Race successful. This disease has touched so many of us, either through personal experience or that of a loved one. Every year, individuals from all walks of life volunteer their time and talents before, during and after the Race to ensure its success.
Volunteers who have signed up online prior to 6PM on Friday March 28th begin the check-in process starting at 5am. Please follow the instructions received via email reminders and arrive at your designated Check-In time.
Interested in getting more involved? We also have leadership positions available to help plan the race.
If you have further questions or want more information in leadership positions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
